Certificate in Holy Spirit & Prophetic Ministry
Department of Theology · 1 year · 10 courses · 100% online
About this programme
There is no shortage of prophetic activity around us, and no great supply of accountability. Many sincere believers have seen enough damage done in the Spirit's name to grow wary of the whole subject, while others hunger for the power they read about in Acts and were never taught how to carry it.
This certificate holds both concerns together. The order of study matters: the Spirit himself, his person and his work, before any gift is discussed, then the gifts as they function in a body rather than in a solo ministry. What the work trains most is discernment, the ability to weigh what is said, to distinguish what Scripture promises from what it does not, and to minister carefully in matters where a mistake wounds people. Intercession, spiritual warfare, fasting and worship are studied on the same terms.
You will finish able to minister in the Spirit and still be corrected, to test what you hear before repeating it, and to teach the gifted and untaught in your congregation. Imagine a meeting that is both freer and safer because someone in the room has been properly taught. Come and be that person.
10 courses across 2 semesters, about 1 year of study.
Who it is for
Believers who want a solid grounding in one area of ministry without committing to a degree. It suits workers already serving in a local church, and anyone returning to study after a long gap.
What you will be able to do
Speak and serve with confidence in this area of ministry, understand what Scripture teaches about it, and put that understanding to work in your local church.
How you will study
Every course here runs the same way, so you always know where you are.
- Six study modules a course, each with a handout you can read on screen or download.
- Video and audio of the same teaching, for studying while you travel or work.
- A short refresher quiz to open each course. It is not scored, and you may retake it.
- Two tests along the way, then a final examination. The pass mark is 50%.
- Results appear as soon as you submit.
Study is entirely online and at your own pace. Everything works on a phone, and handouts can be downloaded to read without data.
